400+ Athletes from 15+ States Participate, CT University Promotes Sportsmanship and Young Talent
Ludhiana: CT University hosted the 2nd National Sub-Junior, Junior and Senior Male & Female Arashi MMA Championship 2026, organised by the Arashi MMA Association of India. The two-day championship witnessed participation from more than 400 athletes representing over 15 states, along with coaches and officials. Competitions were held across various age and weight categories, with athletes showcasing remarkable skill, discipline and sportsmanship.
The championship was graced by Chief Guest Maulana Mohammad Usman Rehmani Ludhianvi Ji, Shahi Imam of Punjab. Distinguished Guests included Gurpreet Singh Ji of Manukhta Di Sewa Society; Tejinder Singh Dhillon Ji, Retd. IGP, Punjab Police, Shooting Olympian and Chairman, Arashi MMA Association; and Jitendra Khangura Ji, Distinguished Guest.
Vice Chairman, CT University, Harpreet Singh, said, “Sports foster discipline, confidence and excellence. We are proud to host this national-level championship at CT University and congratulate all the athletes for their participation and sportsmanship.”

Sports Head, CT University, Gurdeep Singh, was present during the championship and extended his support towards the successful conduct of the event.
Pradeep Kumar Yogi, Founder and General Secretary, Arashi MMA Association of India, expressed his gratitude to the CT University management for its cooperation, support and facilities in successfully hosting the championship. He particularly acknowledged the support extended by Er. Davinder Singh, Director Student Welfare, and Harpreet Singh, Vice Chairman, CT University.
The championship provided athletes with a national platform to showcase their talent while promoting fitness, discipline, sportsmanship and competitive spirit. CT University congratulates all the medal winners, participants, coaches, officials and organising committee members for contributing to the successful conduct of the championship.
