Jalandhar: Police Team of Special Cell, Commissionerate Jalandhar, in a Joint Operation with Police Party of PS Rama Mandi, Apprehended 03 Persons under the UAPA Act Under the directions of the Commissioner of Police Jalandhar, Sh. Satinder Singh IPS, and as per the instructions being issued by Sh. Manpreet Singh PPS DCP/Investigation, Sh. Jayant Puri IPS ADCP/Investigation, Smt. Akarshi Jain IPS ADCP-1 Jalandhar, a special campaign has been launched in Jalandhar city against elements involved in illegal and anti- national activities. 

Under the supervision of ACP Central Jalandhar, on 25.06.2026, the team of Special Cell, while conducting a joint operation with the police team of PS Rama Mandi Jalandhar, acted on the basis of secret information and apprehended the following persons:

1. Sachin Khosla s/o Narinder Kumar r/o House No. 82 Guru Nanakpura West, Chugitti, Jalandhar

2. Bharat Verma alias Sunny s/o Ravinder Verma r/o House No. 96, Guru Nanakpura West Chugitti Jalandhar,
3. Pardeep Singh s/o Hardev Singh r/o House No. 25 Kamal Vihar Rama Mandi Jalandhar.

These persons were allegedly involved in illegal and anti-national activities and, on the directions of Shehzad Bhatti, used to send information  regarding government buildings, and other sensitive information through social media and various phone applications to Shehzad Bhatti and Hamas Gujjar in Pakistan/abroad. The accused were apprehended near Niti  Shri Flats, Jalandhar, thereby achieving an important success.

In this regard, FIR No. 141 dated 25.06.2026 U/S 18, 39 UAPA Act 1967, Sec. 3 Official Secrets Act 1923, & Sec. 111, 3(5) BNS 2024, has been registered against the above accused at PS Rama Mandi Jalandhar. The investigation of the case is being conducted by ACP Central.
In-depth investigation of the above accused is underway. There is a possibility of obtaining more concrete information from them regarding anti-national activities.
