ISKCON’s Divine Presence & Dahi Handi Ignite Festive Fervour

Ludhiana: The spirit of Krishna Janmashtami came alive at CT University as the campus transformed into a vibrant celebration of devotion, culture and togetherness. The festivities, organised in association with ISKCON, brought the divine aura of Lord Krishna to life through Krishna Abhishek, soulful bhajans, devotional chants and an energetic Dahi Handi celebration.

The beautifully decorated campus, adorned with flowers and vibrant festive decor, created an atmosphere reminiscent of Vrindavan, while the shower of flowers during the celebrations added a magical touch to the occasion. The campus resonated with the chanting of Krishna’s name as students and faculty members joined together in devotion and celebration.

The celebrations were graced by distinguished representatives from ISKCON — Narottamanand Prabhu, Asraya Giriraja Prabhu and Divya Sewak Prabhu, whose presence and spiritual discourse added depth and divine warmth to the festivities. Their interaction with the university community encouraged students to connect the timeless teachings of Lord Krishna with values of compassion, discipline, righteousness and selfless action.

The Krishna Abhishek became one of the spiritual highlights of the celebration, followed by melodious bhajans that filled the campus with devotion. The traditional Dahi Handi brought a burst of youthful energy, with students enthusiastically participating in the celebration and turning the occasion into a memorable blend of spirituality and festivity.
